The Brazilian Center on Media for Children and Adolescents, Midiativa, was born in 2002 and is a Non-Profit Civil Association, NGO, formed by a multidisciplinary group that works in the areas of Communications, Culture and Education. With twenty years of history, the organization focuses on projects of Audiovisual and Digital Interactive Content, connected with the Cultural and Educational sectors, striving for the complementary education of children and adolescents in our region.
Midiativa is responsible for the brand comKids, a Brazilian initiative to promote Quality Digital Content for Children and Teenagers, on all kinds of screens. The concept of comKids was developed with Singular, Media & Content, a Communication’s Company, partner of Midiativa. comKids actions are guided by principles of Social Responsibility, Cultural Development and Creative Economy. We act in different locations of the Latin American Region, in Portuguese and Spanish speaking countries, also including the Iberian Peninsula. Besides, we work with partner organizations and professionals from other continents, such as North America, Asia, Africa and Europe.
